celebration on wednesday with maiz, jaryl, dean and leedeeya was awesome. we met up in the evening for dinner at fish and co. and let me warn you. if you're celebrating your birthday, never, i repeat, NEVER EVER, let your friend celebrate it with you there. you'll regret.
i was happily enjoying my pasta and lo and behold, this woman approached me and asked, 'hello, may i know if you're ms xinyi?' i looked at her, know what is going to happen and said no, im not. knowing that im talking rubbish, she dragged me to the front of fish and co, 'invited' me to stand on the tall bartop chair and announced to the whole restaurant that it was my birthday 2 days ago. mind you, it was full house that night.
so, feeling ashame of myself, i stood on the chair, holding a scoop of icecream and sparklers with all the pair of eyes looking at me and singing birthday song. it was beyond embarrassment but i was pleasantly surprised by the 4 sweeties' arrangement. thank you for the awesome present. i love you guys with all my heart. (:
today saw me with cheryl for dins. before meeting her, i went to get christmas gifts for all my sweethearts. sigh, im officially B-R-O-K-E. i have to live off grass as of now. we had dinner at menotti and oh the pasta's good. had alil' chat, walked around raffles city and home sweet home. im so happy she's staying near me now!!
the entry's lengthy again and its 236AM so im really really sorry. i will thank you guys for the gifts in my next entry, i promise. please dont misunderstand me. its not that im unappreciative. i appreciate all the effort put into the gifts and im sincerely thankful to have met all of you. (:
