as always, new year would always mean new resolutions and a new start to everything. 2008 was a pretty sappy year for everyone around me. with all the ups and downs my friends went through, its pretty disheartening at times when they get all upset and all you can do is nothing. ive no idea how my 2009 would turn out to be but i'll try my very best to make it a hella good one. 'cause at the end of the day, we only have one 2009 in our life, dont we?
i saw through 2008 as a happy and sad person with a few tiny thunderstorms but what's most important is i learnt from my mistake and moved on happily. since i have to lead my life, why wouldnt i lead a happy one? thats pretty much the reason why im seldom grumpy.
nothing beats you loving yourself and treating yourself with the utmost respect. if you dont love yourself, who will? everything starts from individual before a special someone appears in front of you unknowingly and shower you with his/her love.
loving yourself isnt being self centered. loving yourself is respecting yourself.
alrighty, if i were to continue, this entry's gonna get all serious.
anyways, recap of my 2007 and 2008 new year resolutions!
MY 2007 RESOLUTIONS
1) to get prettier
2) to have flawless skin (LIKE TOFU) HAHAHA!
3) to get a boyfriend who loves me by end of this year (cross fingers and toes!)
4) to slim down (43kg)
5) to get good grades (get impossible GPA 4!!!)
6) to get taller (i know its alittle impossible) HAHA!
7) to win more mahjong
8) everything goes well for me
for my 2007 resolution, only 4 and 8 came true!
MY 2008 RESOLUTIONS
1) to get prettier (of course this will stay! who doesnt want to get prettier? hehehehe.)
2) to slim down to 43kg and RETAIN it. (note the word RETAIN.)
3) to get good grades
4) to be a better and wiser person
5) to have my family and friends happy all the time
6) to be a happy person with lesser troubles
7) everything goes well for me and the people i love
hahaha as for this year i think prolly only 3, 5, 6 and 7 came true. im pretty satisfied with my grades, im currently a happy person and everything's going okay for the people i love and they are definitely happy 'cause... THEY HAVE ME AROUND. HAHAHAHAHA!
okay, i didnt manage to get prettier, retain my weight at 43kg, become a better and wiser person. stop stop stop laughing! hahaha.
hehehehe, so its time for my 2009 resolution!

1) be a better person to my family and friends
2) continue on my yearly without fail must have resolution, to get prettier! HAHAHA.
3) yes this still remains. i reckon it'll be one of my resolutions forever. 43kg!!
4) get into a local university
5) everyone around me to be safe and have lesser problems
6) be happy and contented with life
